So what are the benefits of being physically healthy? You may be at a point in your health journey where you just simply are tired of trying to be healthy. What is the point?
- You will have more energy– You will have more energy for everything that you want to do and need to do on a regular basis. When you wake up, you will be ready to start your day. You will be ready for what lies ahead for the day. Running after the children? Going to work? When you get rid of those extra pounds, you will feel ready to conquer what is on your plate for the day. When you have these things under control again, you may even want to go for a walk to start off your day or some other form of movement.
- You will save money on clothing– I know you may be thinking, how would I save money on clothing by being thinner? But the truth is, for me, when I was bigger, I had bought everything new, because I could never find a used piece of clothing that would cover me in all the places that I wanted to be covered. But when I had dropped seventy pounds, I had no trouble finding clothes that I loved at the second hand store.
- You will have more time for the things you love– Again you are probably wondering how dropping some pounds will give you more time. Well, when you are not needing to take a break every hour, because your energy is so much better, you will save yourself time and have more time for those you love around you!
- You will feel more confident in yourself– I never would have thought I would have this again. I actually do not mind getting pictures of myself anymore. And when I look at them, I am not ashamed to hang them on the wall. I don’t worry about what I look like when I go out. I can just wear regularly nice clothes, and I do not have to be embarassed about how I look.
Of course, it also benefits your health, but that is a whole topic for another day. You will save trips to the doctor as well, by being healthy.
